The model efficiently captures short-term responses to hydrological forcing and geometry changes, as well as long-term infilling dynamics.<br \/>\nWe tested the reliability of its estimations using real data collected at Seracchi Lake (Western Italian Alps) and assessed its sensitivity using synthetic inputs.
