Crossing disciplinary borders, merging knowledge about mountain systems and networking are the characteristics of #RMC. On-site exchange among participants therefore seems to be the best strategy. For these reasons, #RMC strives to offer as much flexibility as possible while trying to preserve its character.

Talk Format
Presentation with slides
  • Open for everyone.
  • Traditional presentation style (lecture format).
  • An oral presentation supported by slides (PowerPoint or PDF).
  • The presentation length and criteria are defined by the session to which the abstract is assigned.
  • A short Q&A follows each presentation.
  • Oral sessions require a minimum of five (for lightning sessions: seven) registered talks to take place.
  • The final reviewer decides on the acceptance of the abstract for this format.
Poster Format
Presentation with a poster
  • Open for everyone.
  • A presentation in flash talk style, supported by a printed poster.
  • An open discussion follows after all presenters have introduced their posters.
  • Poster sessions require a minimum of four registered posters to take place as separate session.
    If the limit is not reached, the posters will be presented as part of the corresponding oral session.
  • The final reviewer decides on the acceptance of the abstract for this format.
